Dr. Therese is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Kansas State University in 2006 with dual degrees in Nutrition/Exercise Sciences and Athletic Training. She then went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City where she graduated in December 2010. Dr. Therese is an active member in many organizations including the American Chiropractic Association and the Kansas Chiropractic Association. She has received many awards including the American Chiropractic Association Outstanding Service Award and their Excellence in Leadership award. She also has been the recipient of the Presidential Commendation Award from the Kansas Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Therese is truly invested in getting to the root of the problem and correcting it using Chiropractic care, A.R.T. (Active Release Technique) and dry needling. She is also trained in other facets, including Rock Tape, Activator, SOT, Graston and Flexion/Distraction.
Dr. Finan also has a wide variety of practitioners she works, including Massage Therapists, Medical Physicians, Physical Therapist, Dietitian, Personal Trainer, Orthopedic Surgeon, Internal Medicine and Pain Specialist. This network Dr. Finan has built will allow the patient the best referral source, if the condition the patient presents with is not a candidate for Chiropractic or A.R.T. care.
Although Dr. Therese is passionate about her profession, she cherishes and loves spending time with the most important individuals in her life, her husband TJ and children McKinley, Cecelia, Madeline, and Jameson.
Dr. Kyle J. Koerner is a dedicated chiropractic physician with a robust background in health sciences and a passion for community wellness. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University – Kansas City in December 2019, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University.
Dr. Koerner is committed to professional development, holding multiple certifications, including Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Certified Medical Examiner. He has completed postgraduate education in various areas, including mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and is a Fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America.
Currently, Dr. Koerner serves as Chiropractor in the office, doing onsite corporate wellness and treats at Next Step Kansas City helping those with spinal cord injuries to improve their quality of life. He specializes in conservative pain management, dry needling, and myofascial release techniques. He also works as an adjunct instructor at Cleveland University, teaching Public Health courses for the Doctor of Chiropractic program.
A member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Chiropractic Association and the Kansas Chiropractic Association, Dr. Koerner is actively involved in the chiropractic community. He has held various leadership roles, including President of the KC Metro Kansas Chiropractic Association and Chairman of the Board for Gabriella’s Little Library.
Dr. Koerner has contributed to research published in the Journal of Chiropractic Education, focusing on topics such as lumbar disc nomenclature and accessibility in healthcare environments. His commitment to patient advocacy and education extends to community service, where he coordinates health screenings and outreach programs.
In Dr. Koerner’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife: Susan; working out, cooking new foods, and spending time with his cat Cali: the calico from California.
